Nationalism
Definition
Nationalism is an ideology that emphasizes loyalty, devotion, or allegiance to a nation or nation-state and places the interests of the nation above individual or group interests.
Analogy
Nationalism is like being a die-hard fan of your home team. You're proud of where you come from, you cheer for your team no matter what, and you put its success above everything else.
