Temporal data refers to information that is time-specific. It's a type of data where the values are recorded with reference to time.
Think of temporal data like a video recording of a football game. The video captures every moment, from the kickoff to the final whistle, and you can rewind or fast forward to any specific point in time. Similarly, temporal data allows us to look at specific points in time within our dataset.
Time-Series Data: This is a set of observations on a particular subject or phenomenon that are collected over regular intervals of time.
Real-Time Data: This refers to information that is delivered immediately after collection. There's no delay in the timeliness of the information provided.
Historical Data: This term refers to old data collected over previous years or periods which can be used for future analysis or research.
