Agricultural density is the ratio of farmers to the total amount of arable land (land suitable for agriculture).
Think of agricultural density like a garden party. The total number of guests (farmers) you can comfortably fit depends on the size of your garden (arable land). If your garden is small, it can only accommodate a few guests without feeling crowded.
Arable Land: This refers to land that can be used for growing crops. It's like the available space in our garden party analogy.
Population Density: This is the number of people living per unit area. It's similar to counting how many people are at the party, regardless of whether they're inside or outside.
Rural Settlement: This term refers to sparsely populated areas that are often farming communities. In our analogy, this would be like having a large garden with just a few guests.
