DNA Repair: This is a collection of processes by which a cell identifies and corrects damage to the DNA molecules that encode its genome.
Mitosis:This is a type of cell division that results in two daughter cells each having the same number and kind of chromosomes as the parent nucleus, typical of ordinary tissue growth.
Telomeres:These are protective caps on the end of chromosomes that shorten as cells divide. When they become too short, cells can no longer divide and become inactive or die.
