Definition

Elements are simple substances that cannot be broken down into simpler substances by ordinary chemical methods. Each element consists entirely from one type of atom.

Atoms: The smallest unit of an element that retains the properties of that element. Like each individual LEGO block is still identifiable as a LEGO piece.

Periodic Table:

A chart where all known elements are arranged based on their atomic number, electron configuration, and recurring chemical properties. It's like a guidebook showing all available types of LEGO blocks and how they relate to each other.

Chemical Bonds:

These are forces holding atoms together to form compounds or molecules. Just like how different LEGO blocks can be snapped together to create new structures.
