Sensory perception refers to how our senses (like vision, hearing, taste, touch) interpret sensory stimuli from the environment. It involves processing and making sense of sensory information received by our sensory organs.
The process where our senses become less responsive over time when exposed to constant or repetitive stimuli.
Bottom-Up Processing: Constructing perceptions based on incoming sensory information without using prior knowledge or expectations.
Top-Down Processing: Using past experiences, expectations, and context to interpret and make sense of incoming sensory information.
