7.0 Unit 7 Overview: Torque and Rotational Motion
The first half of Unit 7: Torque and Rotational Motion will be covered. We go over the big ideas and learning objectives for this unit. Unit 7-1: Rotational Kinematics, introduces the kinematic equations for angular motion and draws comparisons with linear motion kinematic equations. Unit 7-2: Torque and Angular Acceleration introduces torque and describes how torque and force are related, as well as moments of inertia and angular acceleration as a result of applied torque.
