Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex. It involves actions or policies that deny equal opportunities and rights to individuals or groups based on prejudice.
Discrimination in society can be likened to playing a board game where the rules are unfairly applied to some players but not others; even if everyone is playing the same game, not everyone has an equal chance of winning due to these biased rules.
Prejudice: A preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience, often directed towards people from different racial, ethnic, or socio-economic groups.
Racism: The belief in the superiority of one race over another, which often results in discrimination and prejudice towards people based on their race or ethnicity.
Institutional Racism: A form of racism that is embedded as normal practice within society or an organization, leading to discrimination through policies, practices, and economic and political structures
