Inti

Definition

Inti is the ancient Incan sun god. He was considered to be the ancestor of the Incas.

Analogy

Consider Inti as your school principal - just as your principal oversees everything happening at school, Inti was believed to oversee everything from his position in the sky. And just like how some students might feel a special connection if they're related to their principal, so too did the Incas believe they had a special relationship with Inti because they were his descendants.
