what it does

Grading, assignments, warm-ups, reteach plans, exam season and notes home, with a prompt to try for each.

Ask in your own words. Each job below lists the ready-made prompts the teacher server offers, by name, with something to try saying. Some apps show these prompts in a menu; in any app, the line works as a plain message.

grade a stack you already have

Bring the work you collected. Fiveable scores each response on the AP rubric for its question type, and you review, change what you disagree with, and approve.

  • Paste responses into the chat, attach a PDF, Word file or photos, or drop in an AP Classroom export (FRQ Response PDFs, By Student Page Break).
  • Pull turn-ins from a Google Classroom assignment. Your AI app reads each student’s Doc with its own Google Drive connector and hands the text to Fiveable, and names come from your Classroom roster.
  • Work in Google Drive comes in the same way: your AI app’s Drive connector reads it, then Fiveable grades it. Fiveable doesn’t browse your Drive itself.
  • Scanned or handwritten stacks upload most reliably at fiveable.me/assignments/import. The grading session shows up in your chat right after.

build and publish assignments

Describe the assignment the way you’d tell a colleague. Fiveable builds a draft from its question bank for the classes you name, and students see nothing until you publish.

  • Quizzes, unit exams, full practice exams, SAQs and FRQs, plus readings from Fiveable study guides, up to 20 items in one assignment.
  • Change anything in chat (drop question 3, make it 25 minutes, move the due date), or open the review link and edit on the website.
  • Publishing shows you a preview first. After your yes, you get each class’s student link and a message to post in Google Classroom or wherever you share work.
  • Students join a class by opening that link. There are no class codes.

  • Every question keeps its stimulus, answer keys go on a separate page, and the Fiveable attribution line stays on the material.
  • Review games come formatted for the import your platform expects, like a Blooket or Kahoot spreadsheet.
  • Anything gradable can become a Fiveable assignment, so you see who missed what.

Set up full practice exams with exam timing, then turn the results into a day-by-day final review aimed at the points each class can most easily recover.

  • A practice exam is an assignment draft like any other. You check it, then publish.
  • Reports use raw and section scores. It won’t project a 1 to 5 AP score.
