Google sign-in can’t run inside a chat. Connect Google Classroom and Drive once in a browser at fiveable.me/assignments, then come back to the chat and ask again.

The ChatGPT mobile app doesn’t pass attached files to apps like Fiveable yet. Use ChatGPT on the web, paste the text, or upload the files at fiveable.me/assignments/import.

Claude can’t hand attached files to Fiveable’s tools. It can read typed work and send the text, which works well. For scanned or handwritten stacks, upload the files at fiveable.me/assignments/import and keep going in chat.

Writing the AP rubric for a new question takes one to three minutes. You can start grading right away, since grading writes the rubric first. Ask for progress in a minute or two.

Remove Fiveable in your AI app and connect it again, then sign in with the same Fiveable teacher account. Your classes and grading sessions stay where they are.

ChatGPT keeps its own copy of Fiveable’s tool list from when you added the app. Refresh the app in Settings, then Apps, or remove it and add it again.

Custom connectors depend on your AI plan and, on a work or school account, your admin. School-managed AI accounts often turn them off. Many teachers connect a personal Claude or ChatGPT account instead.

Check that you signed in with the same Fiveable account you use at fiveable.me/assignments. To switch accounts, remove Fiveable in your AI app and connect it again.

Fiveable for AP Teachers is tested in Claude and ChatGPT. Gemini adds custom apps only through Gemini Spark on eligible personal Google accounts (school accounts can’t), and Fiveable hasn’t been verified there. If your AI app can’t add it, the teacher workspace at fiveable.me/assignments does the same grading and building on the website.
