Definition

Political conflict involves disagreement among individuals, groups, or states in which they seek to attain opposing political goals.

Analogy

Imagine two siblings arguing about who gets control over the TV remote. Each sibling represents different groups with opposing goals - just like in political conflicts where different parties are fighting for their own interests.
