A node is a point or region in a standing wave where the amplitude of the wave is always zero.
Imagine a jump rope tied to two poles. The nodes would be the points along the rope that do not move up and down when you shake it.
Antinode: An antinode is a point or region in a standing wave where the amplitude of the wave is at its maximum.
Standing Wave: A standing wave is formed by the interference of two waves traveling in opposite directions, resulting in stationary points called nodes and regions of maximum displacement called antinodes.
Harmonic: A harmonic refers to one of the natural frequencies at which an object vibrates, producing standing waves with specific patterns of nodes and antinodes.
