Water Transportation

Definition

Water transportation is the intentional movement of waterborne vessels (like ships or boats) over bodies of water (like seas, oceans, rivers) primarily used for commerce or travel purposes.

Analogy

Consider water transportation like a school bus service but instead on water bodies. Like how school buses pick up students from various stops and drop them at school; ships pick up cargo/passengers from various ports & deliver them at their destination port.
