For Rhode Island school districts
AP® resources for Rhode Island schools
Use Rhode Island’s AI guidance to structure conversations with educators and students before deciding on an AP practice routine.Give your AP teachers a shared place to assign practice, review student work, and plan follow-up lessons. Start with the teachers who need accounts, then bring a quote and the requested documents to your school or district’s review process.
Plan accounts for your AP department
Fund teacher-led practice
Teacher accounts support assignments and classroom results. Students complete their teacher’s assignments with free accounts. List the courses and teachers you want to include, then choose quantities for one teacher, an AP department, or several departments together.
Choose independent study separately
Sponsored student accounts are optional for independent study beyond teacher-led assignments. Include them when your school wants to fund students’ use of the study library on their own. Teacher and student volume discounts are calculated separately in checkout.
Plan your department rollout
Identify who will receive the setup link and assign purchased accounts. Choose the teachers, courses, and start date for your first assignments. Teachers review scores and feedback, then use classroom results to plan follow-up practice.
Annual teacher pricing
- 1–4 teacher accounts
- $129 each / year
- 5–24 teacher accounts
- $99 each / year
- 25+ teacher accounts
- $69 each / year
For example, five teacher accounts cost $495 per year. Students complete those teachers’ assignments with free accounts. Optional sponsored student accounts add a separate cost.
Gather Rhode Island classroom perspectives before expanding practice
Rhode Island’s education department describes its AI guidance as a structure for ongoing conversations rather than formal regulations. Its resources include student, educator, and school leader perspectives. Gather classroom questions early, then turn the proposed AP practice into a clear plan for district review.
What questions do teachers and students have about the proposed feedback routine, and how will their answers shape the first AP assignment sequence?
How will teachers explain independent work, feedback use, and final grading decisions so students understand the process before they begin?
Which district staff will review student privacy and purchasing documents, and when will the department revisit classroom observations after the initial practice?
Record questions raised during the teaching discussion and send unresolved vendor questions to reviewers. Choose the first assignment around a clear learning goal.
