For Idaho school districts

AP® resources for Idaho schools

Connect AP resource selection with educator preparation and clear expectations for student work.

Give your AP teachers a shared place to assign practice, review student work, and plan follow-up lessons. Start with the teachers who need accounts, then bring a quote and the requested documents to your school or district’s review process.

Plan accounts for your AP department

Fund teacher-led practice

Teacher accounts support assignments and classroom results. Students complete their teacher’s assignments with free accounts. List the courses and teachers you want to include, then choose quantities for one teacher, an AP department, or several departments together.

Choose independent study separately

Sponsored student accounts are optional for independent study beyond teacher-led assignments. Include them when your school wants to fund students’ use of the study library on their own. Teacher and student volume discounts are calculated separately in checkout.

Plan your department rollout

Identify who will receive the setup link and assign purchased accounts. Choose the teachers, courses, and start date for your first assignments. Teachers review scores and feedback, then use classroom results to plan follow-up practice.

Annual teacher pricing

1–4 teacher accounts
$129 each / year
5–24 teacher accounts
$99 each / year
25+ teacher accounts
$69 each / year

For example, five teacher accounts cost $495 per year. Students complete those teachers’ assignments with free accounts. Optional sponsored student accounts add a separate cost.

Prepare teachers to explain when AI belongs in learning

Idaho’s Department of Education AI page brings together professional development, a generative AI education framework, and resources for educators. Its listed learning opportunities address classroom AI use, academic integrity, grading, and feedback. For an AP department, use those topics to organize a local review. Decide how practice will support students’ own reasoning, what teachers need to learn before assigning work, and which privacy questions the district must answer before students use the resource.

  • When will students complete work independently, and when will teachers allow feedback or other assistance?

  • What preparation will help AP teachers interpret feedback and explain the purpose of each planned activity?

  • Which district staff will review student-data use and vendor documents before purchasing approves teacher quantities?

Pair the purchase request with a brief staff-preparation plan and sample assignment. Ask curriculum and technology reviewers to confirm the expectations teachers will communicate to students.

From department plan to purchase

  1. Prepare an instructional plan and quote

Choose teacher quantities and any optional sponsored student accounts. Checkout calculates the annual price and lets you download a quote for your business office. Include the courses, quantities, and planned start date. Quotes are valid for 30 days, so check the date before your office issues a purchase order.

  2. Gather your district’s review packet

Ask your office which documents it needs, such as a signed W-9, privacy agreement, accessibility information, or security documentation. Include your district name and its required forms. The document request form opens an editable email draft; send that draft to submit your request.

  3. Complete the purchase and assign accounts

Your office can pay by card or arrange a purchase order using the quote ID. After Fiveable receives and reviews your PO, we send a setup link while your business office arranges payment. If you pay by card or bank transfer, we send the link after payment is confirmed. Use it to assign purchased accounts when teachers are ready.

Discuss when assistance is permitted, what students must demonstrate themselves, and how teachers will use feedback. Idaho’s educator resources offer useful topics for that preparation; your district sets the expectations for the proposed classroom use.
