Neorealism

Definition

Neorealism, also known as structural realism, is a theory in international relations that emphasizes the anarchic structure of the international system and the distribution of power among states as the primary drivers of state behavior. It argues that states are primarily concerned with their security and act according to the logic dictated by the international structure.
