Definition

Gerrymandering is manipulating electoral district boundaries for political advantage - usually favoring one party over another.

Analogy

Picture gerrymandering like playing Tetris but you get to decide exactly where and how each piece will fit best for your advantage, instead of the game randomly deciding for you.
