Definition

Transparency refers to the quality of being open, honest, and easily understandable. In government context, it means making information accessible and visible to the public regarding decision-making processes and actions taken by officials.

Analogy

Picture transparency as a clear glass jar filled with colorful candies. You can see exactly what is inside the jar, how many candies there are, and choose one confidently based on what you know about them.
