Definition
Pollutants are harmful substances that contaminate the environment, causing damage to ecosystems and living organisms. They can come from various sources such as industrial waste, vehicle emissions, or agricultural runoff.
Analogy
Think of pollutants as unwanted guests at a party. Just like how uninvited guests can disrupt the atmosphere and cause chaos, pollutants disrupt the natural balance of an ecosystem and harm its inhabitants.
