Kudzu

Definition

Kudzu is a fast-growing, invasive vine that can quickly cover and smother other plants. It is native to Asia but has become a problem in the United States due to its ability to spread rapidly.

Analogy

Imagine kudzu as a plant version of "The Blob" from the movies. Just like The Blob engulfs everything in its path, kudzu takes over any available space, suffocating other plants and structures.
