Terra-Cotta Warriors

Definition

The Terra-Cotta Warriors are life-sized sculptures depicting soldiers, horses, chariots, and other figures buried with Emperor Qin Shi Huang to protect him in his afterlife. They were discovered in Xi'an, China in 1974.
