Rectus Femoris:A muscle in the quadriceps femoris group that runs down the middle of the thigh, involved in knee extension and hip flexion.
Knee Joint:A complex hinge joint between the thigh (femur) and lower leg (tibia and fibula) that allows for bending (flexion) and straightening (extension)
