Vasomotor nerves

Definition

Vasomotor nerves are part of the autonomic nervous system responsible for controlling the contraction and dilation of blood vessels, thereby regulating blood pressure and flow. They adjust the diameter of the blood vessels based on signals from the central nervous system.
