Rectus Abdominis:A long muscle running from the pubic bone to the sternum, primarily responsible for flexing the lumbar spine and helping to compress the abdominal cavity.
Internal Oblique Muscle: Located just above the transversus abdominis, this muscle helps rotate and side-bend the trunk while also contributing to abdominal compression.
External Oblique Muscle: Situated on top of the internal oblique, it works alongside other muscles of the abdominal wall to twist and bend the trunk, as well as compressing abdominal contents
