new study pulse and stimulus practice for ap gov, ap comp gov, and ap hug

april 2, 2026

AP Gov, AP Comp Gov, and AP Human Geography all got stimulus-based practice this week — plus Study Pulse, better scoring, and a lot of small fixes.

new content

Stimulus-based practice is now live for AP Gov, AP Comp Gov, and AP Human Geography — real charts, data tables, and primary sources, the same way they show up on exam day. That brings the total to almost 1,900 stimulus sets across Fiveable.

Also new: 711 FRQ practice questions across those same three subjects (including quantitative analysis), 1,685 new multiple choice questions for AP Physics 1 with graphs and visual answer choices, and over 12,000 practice questions for college courses including anatomy & physiology, calc II, and gen chem II.

new features

Study Pulse launched — it's a live dashboard showing what students across the country are studying right now.

The diagnostic quiz now includes stimulus-based questions, so your predicted AP score reflects more realistic practice. And predicted scores now weight your most recent responses more heavily, so your score updates faster as you improve.

You can also switch subjects directly inside guided practice, and move between guided practice and FRQ practice without going back to the main page.

fixes and improvements

  • Math symbols render correctly everywhere now — practice explanations, Google Forms exports, and answer choices
  • History LEQ grading got more accurate
  • Fixed a bug where essays were being assigned to the wrong student on AP Classroom imports
  • Cheatsheets load more reliably
  • Pages are faster across the site, especially on mobile
  • You can now upload screenshots when reporting content errors
