Definition

Grassroots lobbying involves mobilizing community members to influence public policy or government action by contacting their representatives or through public demonstrations. Unlike traditional lobbying, which is done directly by interest group lobbyists, grassroots lobbying harnesses the collective power of individuals at the local level.
