Modern American Liberalism is a political ideology that emerged post-World War II which advocates for social justice through government intervention to ensure equal opportunities for all citizens.

Analogy

Imagine modern American liberalism as an attentive gardener who believes every plant should have an equal chance to grow. To achieve this balance, they might add extra fertilizer (government intervention) where needed so all plants can flourish equally.
