Emotion refers to strong feelings experienced by an individual that can affect their behavior or outlook on certain situations. It involves subjective experiences such as happiness, sadness, anger, or fear.
Emotions are like different colors in an artist's palette. Just as an artist uses different colors to create a painting, our emotions paint the canvas of our experiences and influence how we perceive and react to the world around us.
Empathy: The ability to understand and share the feelings of others.
