Existentialism

Existentialism is a philosophical theory that emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will.

Analogy

Think of existentialism like being the author of your own book. You're not just a character in someone else's story, but you have control over your actions, decisions, and ultimately, your life's narrative.
