Euroscepticism

Definition

Euroscepticism refers to the criticism of, or opposition to, the European Union (EU). It can range from those who oppose some EU policies and seek reform, to those who completely reject its existence.

Analogy

Think of Euroscepticism as a group of friends deciding on where to eat. Some might not like certain dishes at a restaurant (the EU) but are okay with going there if they change the menu (reform), while others may dislike the restaurant entirely and want to go somewhere else instead (rejecting the EU).
