Pollution refers to harmful substances or energy introduced into the environment by human activities that cause adverse effects on living organisms and their surroundings.

Analogy

Picture pollution as throwing trash onto a beautiful beach. The trash not only makes it unpleasant for people to enjoy but also harms marine life and disrupts their habitat. Similarly, pollution from various sources can degrade ecosystems and negatively impact both humans and wildlife.
