Definition
Insecticides are chemical substances used to kill or control insects that may cause harm or damage crops, livestock, or human health.
Analogy
Think of insecticides as bug repellent spray. Just like how bug spray keeps mosquitoes away from you during outdoor activities, insecticides are designed to keep harmful insects away from crops and prevent them from causing damage.
