Definition

Food sources refer to the various natural resources from which humans obtain their food including plants (fruits, vegetables), animals (meat), fish (seafood), grains (rice), etc.

Analogy

Food sources are like a buffet table at a party. Just as you have a variety of options to choose from at a buffet, food sources provide us with a diverse range of options to meet our nutritional needs.
