Hemocytoblast

Definition

A hemocytoblast is a type of stem cell found in the bone marrow that has the potential to develop into any type of blood cell. It is the precursor for both myeloid and lymphoid blood lineages, playing a crucial role in the body's ability to replenish its supply of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
