Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)

Definition

Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) is a hormone produced by the anterior pituitary gland that plays a key role in the reproductive processes of both males and females. In women, it stimulates the growth of ovarian follicles in the ovary, and in men, it aids in sperm production.
