Central neuron

Definition

A central neuron is a nerve cell located within the central nervous system (CNS) that integrates and processes information received from the autonomic nervous system's peripheral parts. It plays a key role in transmitting signals to various body parts, coordinating involuntary physiological functions such as heart rate and digestion.
