This stream examines Changing Social Hierarchies- 1450-1750 CE (Topic 4.7) in the AP World History course. It introduces how social hierarchies changed and remained the same over time in: the Ottoman Empire, Russian Empire and the Qing/Manchu Empire. It also shows the Castas System in North and South America and how this redefined social hierarchies in the Spanish and Portuguese colonial areas in North and South America. A Short Answer Question (SAQ) CCOT (Continuity and Change Over Time) is explained and an example for practice is given on Changing Social Hierarchies.
