In this stream, we cover the growth and expansion of Indian Ocean trade. We will look at the basics of Indian Ocean trade, including what was traded and who participated. We will also examine the causes and effects of the growth of trade in the Indian Ocean. Along the way, we will also analyze some primary sources to get a sense of life in the Indian Ocean Maritime System.
