Pulmonary valve

What is the pulmonary valve?

The pulmonary valve is the heart valve that controls blood leaving the right ventricle and entering the pulmonary trunk, which carries blood to the lungs. In Anatomy and Physiology I, you usually study it as one of the four valves that keep blood moving one way through the heart.
