Cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder, often caused by bacterial infection. It is a common type of urinary tract infection (UTI).

Cystitis is most commonly caused by Escherichia coli, which normally resides in the intestines.
Symptoms of cystitis include frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, and cloudy urine.
Women are more prone to cystitis due to their shorter urethra compared to men.
