Civil disobedience

Definition

Civil disobedience is the act of intentionally refusing to obey certain laws, demands, or commands of a government or occupying international power as a form of peaceful political protest. It is typically carried out to draw attention to laws or policies considered unjust and to advocate for change without resorting to violence.
