The UN is an international organization formed in 1945 to increase political and economic cooperation among its member countries. It works on numerous global issues including peacekeeping, climate change, sustainable development etc.
Consider UN as a big school where all countries are students. They come together in this schoolyard not just for learning but also resolving disputes peacefully under one roof while following certain rules - much like a student council!
