Definition
Solar power is an alternative energy source that converts sunlight into electricity either directly using photovoltaics or indirectly through concentrated solar power systems.
Analogy
Consider solar panels as giant sponges soaking up the sun's rays throughout the day. Just like how sponges absorb water, these panels absorb sunlight and convert it into electrical current.
