Bolshevik Revolution

Definition

Also known as Russian Revolution; it was an uprising in Russia in 1917 that overthrew the czarist government and led to the formation of a communist government under Lenin.

Analogy

Imagine if your school's student council decided they didn't like how things were being run by principal (czar), so they rallied all students (workers) and staged a massive protest leading to them taking control and changing all rules according to their ideology. That's similar to what happened during Bolshevik Revolution.
