Sudras are the lowest rank of the four varnas in traditional Hindu society. They were typically laborers who served other higher classes.
Imagine Sudras as the backstage crew in a theater production. They may not be in the spotlight, but their work is essential to keep the show running.
Untouchables/Dalits: A group considered below the varna system and faced social discrimination and exclusion.
Feudalism: A social structure similar to caste system where peasants or workers known as serfs are obligated to live on a lord's land and give him homage, labor, and share of produce.
Caste System: The rigid social stratification based on birth, prevalent in India that includes Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaisyas and Sudras.
