The Mughal Zamindar/Rajput system was an administrative system used in India where local rulers (Zamindars or Rajputs) collected taxes on behalf of the central Mughal government.
Imagine if your neighborhood had a block captain who collected everyone's recycling fees and then handed them over to city hall. That's similar to how Zamindars worked - they were responsible for collecting taxes from people in their area and giving it to the central government.
Mansabdari System: This was another type of administrative system used by the Mughals where officials were ranked based on their military responsibilities and land revenue rights.
Akbar's Religious Policy: Akbar was a Mughal emperor known for his policy of religious tolerance.
Aurangzeb's Religious Policy: In contrast to Akbar, Aurangzeb was known for his strict enforcement of Islamic law.
