A table of random numbers is a pre-generated list of digits (usually from 0 to 9) arranged in rows and columns. It is used as a tool for selecting random samples in statistical experiments.
Imagine having a deck of cards with each card labeled with different digits from 0 to 9. A table of random numbers works similarly, except it's like having multiple decks shuffled together into one big table.
Sampling Frame: A sampling frame is the list or set from which individuals or items are selected for inclusion in a sample.
Simple Random Sample (SRS): A simple random sample is a subset of individuals or items chosen from the population in such a way that every possible sample has an equal chance of being selected.
Stratified Random Sample: In stratified sampling, the population is divided into distinct subgroups called strata, and then samples are randomly selected from each stratum in proportion to their size.
