Definition

Right-skew refers to a distribution where the tail of the data points towards the right side. In other words, it means that there are more extreme values on the right side of the distribution.

Analogy

Imagine a line of people waiting for ice cream. If most people in line are children and only a few adults are at the end, it creates a right-skewed distribution because there are more people towards the front (left) and fewer towards the back (right).
