Definition
Thickness refers to the distance between two surfaces of an object or material. It is a measure of how thick or thin something is.
Analogy
Imagine you have a sandwich with multiple layers of bread and fillings. The thickness of the sandwich would be the distance between the top and bottom slices of bread.
